    A little known fact is that fifty-four of the fifty-six signatories of the Declaration of Independence were believers. These men understood the powerful influence that the Savior God had on each and every individual who had signed this and pledged allegiance to it. Their signatures could have possibly sealed their deaths and they were all fully aware of it.     In their framework of the Declaration, they sought God's wisdom in creating a document that would become this great nation's most important testament. Little did the signers of the Declaration of Independence know that with the signing of this Declaration, the birth of a new nation had begun, and "the shot that was heard around the world", the first shot fired against a British soldier, would be the beginning of the end for Great Britain's rule over the American colonies. Snickers: *The best selling candy bar of all time. *Was named after the Mars’ family’s favorite Horse. *When first available in the early 1930s, Snickers cost only 20 cents. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: *Were invented by Harry Burnett Reese, a dairy farmer from Hershey, PA. *Reese created them in his basement after being inspired by the Hershey Chocolate company. *Reese used Hershey chocolate in his confections, and the Peanut Butter Cups were his most popular candy. *Reese left farming to create his own candy business – H. B. Reese Candy Co. *Reese’s company was sold to the Hershey Company in 1963 for $23.5 million just years after his death.

  The  Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest  is an annual American  competitive-eating  competition, which is run as a publicity gathering event by Shea Communications. It is held each  July 4th  at  Nathan's Famous Corporation 's original, and best-known restaurant at the corner of Surf and  Stillwell Avenues  in  Coney Island , a neighborhood of  Brooklyn ,  New York . In 2011 over 40,000 spectators attended the event, and an additional 1.949 million viewers watched it live on  ESPN  television.    The contest has gained public attention in recent years due to the sudden stardom of  Takeru Kobayashi , his subsequent rivalry with American  Joey Chestnut , and the current controversy over Kabayashi's contractual dispute and absence.
