Ingredients: Pie Crust Dough (fave recipe or pre-made) 2 12 oz. cans of cherry, apple or your favorite pie filling 2 Tb of sugar 1 large egg beaten Supplies: 6 4 oz. mason jars, cleaned with lids and labels removed Heart shaped cookie cutter 1 Cookie sheet   Directions:   Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Press the unrolled dough bit by bit into the jars a bit at a time (not too thick!) until the jars are lined with the dough up to the rims. Reserve some dough for toppers.     The Bognor Birdman event first started on the South coast of Britain in Selsey in 1971, where a prize was given for anyone who could fly the grand distance of 50 yards. Nobody managed it! After a few years the event started to attract quite a crowd and in 1978 the term Bognor Birdman was coined when the event moved to its present location in Bognor Regis. I suggest rummaging through books at yard/garage sales. Make sure it is a hardback; otherwise you will cut all the way through the other side when you are cutting out the insides. You'll also need: Elmer's white glue a container to hold glue solution (I've chosen a film canister) X-acto knife, and/or box cutter. Lemon Pound Cake   This recipe is from the Ritz Carlton Cooking School I went to back in August. I've been working my way through some of my favorite dishes at home, and this lemon pound cake was the first recipe I attempted. I loved the cake when we had it at cooking school, and I wanted to share it with Chicken Legs. The cake turned out fantastic! It tasted just like it did at cooking school. I’ve had an overwhelming response to this project and everyone wants a tutorial, so here you go. First off, gather your supplies:       - book for dismembering, paperbacks are great - template (I made half an apple out of a thick piece of chipboard) - exacto knife with a very sharp blade - clips - glue stick - snot dots - ink or paint for coloring and something to apply it with - decoration or embellishments           Step 1 My paperback book was too thick so I split it in half using my blade. Try and make a clean break or you will end up sacrificing some pages. Remove the cover.           Step 2 Lay the template down on the book and cut the pages around the template.
