RASPBERRY SWIRL SWEET ROLLS!

This recipe comes from  http://www.thecurvycarrot.com  .  Nothing like sweet rolls first thing in the morning.   Yyyyuuuummmm! Happy Saturday. It’s been a long week, hasn’t it?  We’ve all worked hard, especially after coming off all those holidays, right?  We deserve a little boost to a Saturday morning. I’m quickly realizing that as I get more and more comfortable with yeast breads, I have discovered a brand new feeling. I’ll find a recipe, actually PLAN IN ADVANCE (which is a new concept, considering I usually go off of cravings and what is available to me in the fridge…), and prep the night before.   I will make as much of the recipe as possible, and then have it completely ready to pop into the oven the next morning. My alarm will go off (or not, especially if it’s a weekend), I will feel the need for some major caffeine, and then I suddenly remember that I will soon have the most amazing breakfast before me.  I...

This was found at www.craftycrafty.tv .  Pretty cool stuff!! Halloween: how to make spider web balloons If you're planning a halloween party to remember, now's the time to get making props and decorations for the event. One of the coolest ideas I've seen is balloons filled with 'spider webs' (right), which makes for a really spooky effect. But once you've collected these together, this is a really quick and easy project. Follow the jump for instructions. What you'll need: - HI-FLOAT - 11-inch clear latex balloons - Small rubber spiders Instructions - Inject a little less than the usual amount of Hi-float into an clear balloon and rub it around to coat the inside. - Put a small rubber spider inside the balloon. - Inflate the balloon to about 75% of the full-size with air. - Seal the...

CANDY! CANDY! CANDY! LET'S TALK ABOUT AMERICA'S FAVORITE CANDY! M&M'S MMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

The M & M guys and gal    Sweet milk chocolate drops in a colorful, crunchy shell.  Ubiquitous and delightful, M & M's candy has been part of American life for nearly 70 years.  We all know they're the chocolate that "melts in your mouth, not in your hands", but how did M & M's become such an essential American treat?    In the 1930's, Forrest Mars, Sr. got the idea for M & M's by seeing Spanish Civil War soldiers eating chocolate pellets that had a hard shell covering the inside so the candies would not melt.    In 1941 production for M & M's began in a factory located in Newark, New Jersey.  One M stands for Forrest Mars and the other M stands for William Murrie, the president of Hershey's Chocolate.  Murrie had 20 percent interest in the production of M & M's.  When Operations were started, the chocolates were made in five colors: yellow, brown, green, red, and violet.  They were origina...
